01 / CHOOSE YOUR SPECIFICATION

Choose the right material for your customers.

An entry-level range and a premium outdoor range need different specifications. Compare the material routes before choosing a sample.

A better cover starts with the details.

Practical side access

A zipped side opening makes it easier to reach the door area without taking off the whole cover.

Elastic hem & shaped details

Shaped mirror pockets and a gathered lower edge make the cover easier to position around the vehicle body.

Weather-facing outer fabric

Choose a finish for outdoor parking in your market. Compare the water resistance and UV specification for the exact fabric option.

02 / A BETTER PRODUCT BRIEF

Move beyond a generic cover.

Common sourcing pitfalls

  • A fabric label with no clear lining specification.
  • Size codes chosen without checking the vehicle.
  • Waterproof and UV claims without material evidence.

Specify a better version

  • Choose the contact lining and outer finish together.
  • Check body style, dimensions and fitted accessories.
  • Request material reports and approve the sample.

MATERIAL TEST EVIDENCE

Car-cover material testing, made visible.

Supplier-provided reports for silver woven car-cover fabric. Review the material evidence alongside your sample and sourcing brief.

Average UVA and UVB transmittance: 0.05% each in the reported fabric sample.

GB/T 18830-2009

Hydrostatic pressure

10,710mmH₂O

Average of five fabric specimens. A material water-resistance result, not a finished-cover leak test.

GB/T 4744-2013

Surface water repellency

Grade 4

All three specimens achieved grade 4 in the spray test, measuring surface resistance to wetting.

GB/T 4745-2012

Results apply to the submitted fabric sample, not every finished cover. Applicable material reports are confirmed before order. Client details are redacted; test results are unchanged.

These ranges describe vehicle length, not the cover’s finished L × W × H. Exact cover dimensions and fit are confirmed for the selected SKU.

The supplier chart has a 4.60–4.65 m SUV gap and no ute/pick-up category. Ranger, HiLux, bull bars, canopies and roof racks need a separate fit enquiry.
